Dr David Owen had the privilege of giving the 2022 Richard Hughes Memorial Lecture to the Faculty of Homeopathy and guests on the future of homeopathic and holistic medicine. He talked about the key principles underlying his approach to patient care and more generally inform the 'Art of Medicine'. He explored the importance to getting the balance and integration of the art and science of medicine for patients, holistic health professionals and public health.
David used his reflections from 40 years of practice as a holistic doctor to speak passionately about the need for the medical profession to redress the balance in healthcare, highlighting the important role of holistic health professionals and their associations in doing this.
